In meinem Kopf ein dunkler Wald
Erinnerungen eisig und kalt
Durch das Gestrüpp der Fantasie
zieht sich allein eine Melodie.
Vorbei an allem, was geschehen
durch träume, tränen und alte Ideen.
Sie ist der Meister dieser Welt,
denn sie entscheidet, was sie behält
An jedem Baum hier hängt ein Strick
Blätter aus Klingen bilden ein Dickicht.
Die erste Lichtung ist bald erreicht,
dort steht ein kleines Haus.
Die Melodie schleicht sich heran
und lauscht durchs Fenster rein.
Was sie dort hört, das saugt sie auf,
bannt es in Noten ohne körper,
spielt ein Lied voll angst und schmerz
und stellt es in des Waldes herz.
Nun singt laut ein neues Lied,
bevor es für sie weitergeht.
Will neue Dinge noch besingen
und ewig in alter zeit verbringen.
